I have a degree in early childhood education and am currently subbing while perusing that elusive teaching job. I also work a retail gig, as i have student loans and those are no laughing matter!
I love movies like cabin in the woods, scream, deadpool (and any other marvel movie), and I spend more time than I should binge watching shows like stranger things, izombie, and the Magicians. my apartment looks more like a library, because I have a slight book addiction (but no, I refuse to get help for this!). I read mysteries and urban fantasy, mainly, and favorites include the Dresden Files, war for the oaks, and Harry potter, just to name a few.
I live for spring and summer, when I can spend my free time sunning myself with a book at the metroparks or at the beach. long walks are a favorite past time when weather permits, but I'm not into going to the gym. in the winter, I would hibernate if I could (instead, I snuggle up under too many blankets with Netflix or a stack of good books).
ice cream and chocolate are two of my weaknesses.
I love animals and have 2 cats.
Other favorite activities include going to concerts, seeing movies, going to museums, and going to zoos.
What I am looking for
I am looking for a serious relationship with that elusive one that will share all aspects of his life with me. someone intelligent, with a great sense of humor, a love for animals, and preferably a sweet tooth and a love for board games (and word games like scrabble, or card games like cards against humanity). I want a partner in crime who is a great communicator and likes spending his free time with his significant other, and enjoys keeping in touch during the day via text, email or a quick phone call. someone who wants to share all of lifes ups, downs, and inbetweens.
